NAKBAH

Palestine was annexed by the world conquerer named the British and the allies on the 15 May 1948. The prosperous land was the landmark of three major world faiths. History has shown the people of different faiths could coexist under Islamic rulers. However, the Zionist announced the establishment of Israel State on 14th May 1948 by wiping out the name of Palestine on its map. The word of Palestine does not exist on the world map anymore! If that is not cruel enough what could we say! It is NAKBAH - A disaster for all of us the muslims and its original inhabitants. Now that we could not visit the third sacred mosque of Al Aqsa and gain 500 hasanah when performing solat there....our rights are denied..

It is tantamount for all of us to free Palestine from the illegal occupation...of the aggressors...

15th May should be remembered each year as NAKBAH until.....only in the knowledge of Allah the AlMighty..the day we say 'Palestine is free'...

A holy cause

Well after sometimes following the updates of Obama foreign policy..nothing new on the Palestine issue. The Clinton visit to the Middle East reconfirms many observers' prediction that status quo remain (see my entry on New President new order or New President old order?). She said "Israel has the right to defend themselves if Hamas continues firing rockets to the Israeli territory". What she did not say was ' the Palestinians have the rights to defend themselves after their land being confiscated and thousands were killed and displaced from their own land..' So same old order of American biased policy towards the 'illegal nation of Israel'. The fights are on-going and continuing till justice prevail. Some Palestinian speakers in one of the talks I attended previously mentioned that the Al-mighty Allah wants to give more rewards to the defenders of Islam in this ummah fight..Why? The third holy land that places Al Aqsa and As-Sakra is the muslim land. Saidina Omar RH when he came with Bilal with a camel to recieve the keys to Baitulmuqqadis from the Romans had declared the land and its surrounding as waqaf to all muslims..

Jihad
When Baitulmuqqaddis fell again into the hands of non-muslims, another great muslim warrior came to rescue this holy land.. a land of anbiya..Sallehuddin Al Ayubi was not a Palestinian. He was a Kurdish but he knew it was tantamount for muslims to continue jihad in the cause until succees. What were the criteria for warriors to be eligible in the frontline of battle...a person must read and memorize Al-Quran..Tahajud at nights..no talking nonsense while in the camp...In one of his visits to the camp..when he saw a group of warriors were in the state of idle talk..He said "if we were to be defeated, it must be due to the occupants of this camp.. In another instance at a different camp..he saw a group of people who were busy reading and memorising Al-Quran..he said if we were able to defeat the enemy it must be from this camp"
That was the preparation of jihadis during Salehuddin Al-Ayubi time. Time for reflection..Are we ready to do the same?...Until then there are many unfullfilled criteria that need improvements which should start with our intention and clarification of niat (As-Syams 1-8). Firstly I am reminding myself to continuously check my relationship with Allah, ..Love to Allah..as the foremost aim..To seek pleasure of the Creator not to seek human praises..Ibrahim Adham a learned person used to say..Continue doing what Allah pleases even though people surround you displease them...

RISE AND RISE

Salam to all again..

Yesterday 11th January 2009/14 Muharam1430H the news said "more than 800 killed" and "more than 3000 injured".."The Israeli army deepen their aggresion in urban areas".. Ugh..laknatullah

I attended " Public Rally for Palestine" organised by AMAN palestine at the Malawati Stadium in Shah Alam with my friend Normah. The programme started at 10.am with more than 7000 people in the stadium. Public talk from various NGOs, UMNO, PKR and PAS, ABIM, ISMA, HALUAN and a representative from Gaza. High powered nasyids were performed by Muadz and Aman Palestine group. It was a highly inspired moment and most audience were from young Malaysian representatives..either university students or individuals. Personally I was touched by the atmosphere..with the chanting.."Khaibar, khaibar..ya Yahud...", "Hidup Palestin", "Jahannam ..Jahannam Israel" " Hancur..hancur Amerika"...

Public talks were delivered in full energetic aura with powerful voice, recitation of Al-Quran and Hadith. A represenative from Gaza mentioned .."do not feel sad..Allah has promised victory..we are ready to fight a long and hard battle with the Israel".."now we know who are the enemies of Palestine..and defender of Baitulmaqdis"(literal translation from Arabic).. MasyaAllah this is the spirit of defender of Islam. Most Palestinians never show any fear, instead high motivation in fighting the cause...As mentioned in a hadith (Muadz's nasyid) "there is always a group who would defend Baitulmaqdis/Islam" "who are they ; asked the sahabiah".."Ar-rasul s.a.w says " the people live in Baitulmaqdis and its surrounding"...

What can we do? ..solat hajat, qunut nazilah, doas, material donation, gold..money..volunteers.. list goes on..At least we are doing something..not only symphatize the palestinians..

The event went on with "throwing shoes to Bush" and "stomps on Israeli flags" as symbolism of humiliation to the aggresors. Later after in house events there were convoys of cars with SAVE GAZA mission to surrounding areas. May our deeds are accepted by Allah s.w.t..
