May this coming Eidul Adha 1430H remind us the 'sacrifices'that we have to make in this world. Prophet Ibrahim, his son Ismail and wife Siti Hajar had shown the examplary path. The utmost test of 'sacrificing' one's son for obeying non-other but our Creator...Let it be the sacrifice for the noble cause..InsyaAllah..
The pilgrimages of Haj definitely are on their way to Arafah..the congregational area for more than three million people. Reflecting my journey in 2002..I can feel their anxiety.. a mixed feeling actually..full of hopes that Allah SWT. will accept our ibadah. A mabrur haj for a person, is like being re-born clean and pure..
The month of Zulhijjah is a sacred month too. We are encouraged to do saddaqah and fast during 1st-9th of the month. This Thursday(9th Zulhijjah) , the Arafah day is sunnah to do the fasting.. and not to forget qurban time during 10,11 and 12 Zulhijjah (haram ya..fasting during this period).
This time our family will celebrate Eid Adha in Shah Alam and InsyaAllah will join the Eid prayer at Al-Islah since Nurhanifan is having his SPM..
